Heinrich Bohlmann holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Centre of Policy Studies in Melbourne, Australia. He is currently employed as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics at the University of Pretoria where he specialises in economic policy research using computable general equilibrium (CGE) modeling methods. Dr. Bohlmann has also been contracted as an economic modeling consultant to World Bank, South Africa’s National Treasury, etc. Dr. Bohlmann’s academic and contract work has mainly focussed on macroeconomic planning, energy and environmental policy, and labor market topics.
