Boscow Okumu is a Senior Research Fellow Environment for Development and a holder of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics from the University of Cape Town majoring in Environmental and Natural resource Economics. His major research areas include forestry, biodiversity conservation, climate change, climate-smart agriculture, climate change, energy, and community-based natural resource management focusing on the interaction between protected areas and adjacent communities.
