Riccardo Degasperi is an empirical macroeconomist currently working in the Bank of Italy with interests in monetary policy, international economics, energy, and applied econometrics. He focuses his research on the international propagation of monetary policy shocks, on the identification of shocks to the expectations of oil supply and demand, and on the effects of unconventional monetary policy. He obtained his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Warwick in July 2022.
