Modeste Some is an Economist at the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Prior to the IMF, He worked as an Economist in the Development Economics Prospects Group of the World Bank and worked at the University of Johannesburg as a senior lecturer. His research focuses on monetary policy, macro-finance in dynamic stochastic general equilibrium (DSGE) models, and business cycles. Somé holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Montreal.
