Dr. Mark Ellyne has a PhD from Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies, where he specialized in international finance an politics. He is recently retired, after 12 years, as an Associate Professor of Economics at the University Cape Town, where he specialized in macroeconomic policy, monetary and exchange rate policy, and regional integration. Previously, Mark worked as a Senior Economist at the International Monetary Fund in Washington DC for 25 years.
