Contributor Name: Kristian Behrens

Kristian Behrens is a Professor of Economics at the Université du Québec à Montréal (ESG-UQAM), Canada. He is also affiliated with the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). The main focus of his research is on regional economics (spatial distribution of economic activity, changes in spatial structures), urban economics (spatial sorting, agglomeration economies), and international trade (impacts of trade integration, trade frictions). He earned his Ph.D. in Economics at Université de Bourgogne, France.
