David Fadiran is a Research Fellow with the Policy Research in Service and Manufacturing (PRISM) at the School of Economics, the University of Cape Town with a focus on Institutional economics, Natural resource economics, and local government dynamics and interest in spatial econometric analysis, intersections of institutions with international trade, illicit financial flows, and economic performance. He obtained a doctorate in Economics from the University of Cape Town.
