Christine S. Makanza is a lecturer at the University of Cape Town. She is interested in open economy macroeconomic modeling in developing and emerging economies, with a particular interest in open economy dynamic stochastic general equilibrium (DSGE) modeling and time series analysis that relates to external imbalance, monetary and fiscal policy, and growth. She obtained her doctorate degree from the University of Cape Town.
