Carike Claassen is a senior lecturer in the School of Economic Sciences at the North-West University. Her research has mainly focused on understanding the ways in which gender influences labour market outcomes. Specifically, she examines occupational segregation and the personal experiences of women and gender-non-conforming individuals in the labour market.
