Tafara Ngwaru is a principal in the Human Development practice. Tafara is a senior economist with experience in research, human-development sectors financing, monitoring, and evaluation. He has worked on a few projects across sub-Saharan Africa focusing on health financing, specifically supporting clients on policy issues centered on system effectiveness, efficiency, and equity. His research interests also extend to HIV and economics, and he has led research exploring some of the social and economic drivers of HIV in Southern Africa. Tafara holds a doctorate degree in Management Studies from the University of Cape Town.
