Mariska is an Econometric major, graduated with her Bachelor’s in 2012 Cum Laude, followed by an Honours degree in 2013, also Cum Laude. She was admitted to Golden Key Honourary Society in 2011.
Mariska is currently a postgraduate student undertaking a Masters in Econometrics at the University of Pretoria.
She is particularly interested in Development Economics with reference to developing nations and how historic factors influence current growth.
Mariska is thinking of potentially pursuing her PHD and a life in academia or becoming a professional economist assisting development strategies.
