Jörg Baten is a Professor of Economic History at the University of Tuebingen. He is the former President of the European Historical Economics Society, and current co-Editor-in-chief of Economics and Human Biology with research interests in Economic Growth, Economic Development, Inequality, Human Capital, and Numeracy.
