Deniz Igan is the Head of Macroeconomic Analysis in the Monetary and Economic Department at BIS. Prior to joining the BIS, she held several positions at the International Monetary Fund. Her research interests include financial crises, corporate finance, real estate markets and political economy and she holds a PhD from Princeton University.
