Zachary Gitonga is a Research Associate at the School of Economics at the University of Cape Town. His research interest includes impact evaluation, development economics, applied and natural resource economics, and the economics of climate change. Previously he worked as a research associate at the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) in Kenya, was a research assistant at the University of Nairobi, and research fellow at the International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (ICIPE) in Kenya while completing his Master’s studies.
