William Kavila is Deputy Director in the Economic Research Division of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe. He joined the Central Bank in 1989 as an Assistant Economist and rose through the ranks to his current position. William holds a Doctor of Commerce degree in Economics, Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, Republic of South Africa, and is an accredited Fellow of the Macroeconomic and Financial Management Institute of Eastern and Southern Africa (MEFMI) in Financial Programming and Policies. William is also a member of the board of Trustees of Fintrust Pension Fund.
