He previously worked as a Consultant with the World Bank and He is particularly interested in the interplay between human capital, institutions, and macroeconomic policy in the economic growth of nations, particularly, those in sub-Saharan Africa. He obtained his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Cape Town.
