Emmanuel Kumi is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Social Policy Studies, the University of Ghana, and a Visiting Research Fellow at the Centre for Development Studies, University of Bath. He holds a Ph.D. in International Development from the University of Bath. Emmanuel has multidisciplinary research interests in African philanthropy, civil society organizations, NGO management, civic activism and advocacy, the political economy of development, and the politics of aid.
