Professor Sir Tim Besley is a School Professor of Economics and Political Science and W. Arthur Lewis Professor of Development Economics in the Department of Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science with expertise in Development Economics, Public Economics, and Political Economy. He is also a member of the National Infrastructure Commission and is President of the Royal Economic Society.
