Sami Alpanda is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Central Florida, College of Business. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Minnesota in 2004 and his research interests are in macroeconomics, with an emphasis on business cycles, monetary and fiscal policy, macro-finance, housing, and international economics.
