Willem Boshoff has over 16 years of experience in the economic analysis of complex competition cases. Before starting his own practice, he was director at Econex (Pty) Ltd. Willem is the co-director of the Centre for Competition Law and Economics (CCLE) at Stellenbosch University and a professor in the Department of Economics and a Convenor for the Competition Policy leg of the Trade, Industrial and Competition Policy Research Programme at ERSA. He teaches competition policy and econometrics at the graduate level. Willem was a Commonwealth Scholar and holds a PhD in economics from Stellenbosch University (2012) and master’s degrees in management research from Oxford (2008) and in economics from Stellenbosch (2006).
