Ulrich Schmidt is full professor of economics at the University of Kiel and head of the research area “Global Cooperation and Social Cohesion” at the Kiel Institute. He completed his education at the University of Kiel with master degrees in economics and business administration as well as doctorates in economics and psychology. His research interests are in the field of behavioral and experimental economics, decision theory, health economics, and behavioral finance.
