Akhona Mili

Awardee affiliation: University of Fort Hare

Akhona Mili graduated for her Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Transport Economics (Cum Laud) in 2013 and in 2012 for her Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management and Economics all obtained from the University of Fort Hare (UFH).

Akhona has strong research interest in international trade, macroeconomics, public finance and transport economics. She was granted an award by Economic Research of Southern Africa (ERSA) for being the second best economics student in 2014.

Akhona’s goal after graduating is being an economic analyst specialising in international trade.
