Logan Rangasamy is an Adjunct Professor at Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of the Witwatersrand with a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pretoria. He has worked on economic policy issues and developments for over 30 years. During this period, his involvement in policy issues has been in the capacity of economic advisor at the European Union and senior positions at the South African Reserve bank and international institutions. His work has covered policy issues related to national (South Africa), regional (African), and multilateral (G20, IMF, OECD, etc.) matters/interests. He has also done work on sustainable development goals, financial inclusion, and fiscal policy and debt issues pertaining to the Southern African region and the African continent.
