Lardo Stander is the President of the South African Association for Energy Economics (SAAEE) and Divisional Head of the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality. He obtained his Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Pretoria with interests in Economic policies for cities, circular economics, growth dynamics and informal economy.
