Ingomar Krohn is a Principal Researcher in the Financial Markets Department at the Bank of Canada. He obtained a PhD in Finance at Warwick Business School, United Kingdom, and worked as a postdoctoral researcher with the Department of Finance at Copenhagen Business School, Denmark. His research focuses on topics in the area of international finance, financial markets, and empirical asset pricing. In particular, he is interested in exchange rate economics and the institutional characteristics and trading dynamics in the foreign exchange market.
