Grieve Chelwa is a Director of Research, at the Institute on Race, Power & Political Economy, The New School. He worked previously at the Graduate School of Business, the University of Cape Town as the Director of the MBA Programme. His research areas are Decolonizing Economics, Health Economics, African Economic Development, and Inequality. He obtained Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Cape Town.
